Terms of service

These terms apply to all orders placed with Carter and Wells, a trading name of Swaplang Ltd (company no. 16278721), registered in England and Wales, registered office C/O Accounts And Legal, 81 King Street, Manchester, M2 4AH. Warehouse: RM 205, Building 1, No. 200 Minzhu Village, Chunjiang Street, Fuyang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China.
Orders — Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed only once we send order confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for pricing or stock errors, in which case you'll be refunded in full.
Age — You must be 18 or over, or have a parent/guardian's consent, to place an order.
Pricing and payment — All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at the time of order.

Product descriptions — We make every effort to describe and picture products accurately; minor variations in colour or finish may occur.
Intellectual property — The Carter and Wells brand name, logo and original site content belong to Swaplang Ltd. Product images and descriptions supplied by our manufacturers and suppliers remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for the purpose of marketing and selling their products.
Liability — Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability for any claim is limited to the value of your order.
Force majeure — We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Complaints — If we can't resolve an issue directly, Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) offers free, independent guidance on your consumer rights.
Changes to these terms — We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the site after changes means you accept the update.
Governing law — These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
