Currency. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. UK delivery is free, and we don't add any delivery or handling charges at checkout.
Import charges. Orders are dispatched from our partner warehouse in Hangzhou, China. Parcels worth £135 or less have no customs duty or import VAT to pay on delivery. Most pieces we sell cost under £100, so almost every parcel falls under this. If a single parcel is worth more than £135, the carrier may charge import VAT and duty. If you're ever asked to pay anything on delivery, email us before paying and we'll look into it.
When you're charged. Payment is taken in full when you place your order.
How you can pay. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
Security. Our whole site and checkout run over an encrypted (SSL/HTTPS) connection. Card payments are processed by our payment providers, which are PCI DSS compliant. We never see or store your full card details.
On your statement. Your payment will appear on your bank statement as Carter and Wells.
Discount codes. One code per order. Codes must be entered at checkout and can't be applied after an order is placed.
Pricing errors. If an item is listed at the wrong price, we'll contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
Refunds. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 14 days of your return reaching us. See our returns policy.
